We stay busy throughout the year at our various projects and events. Below are some ways our community members and supporters can get involved.
Clean Streets Committee
Each year people from different organizations and businesses invested in our communities come together in order to plan this annual event. We use the same winning formula that has worked so well over the last 13 years. Next year will be the 14th year of this amazing event. We are always looking for ways to improve and grow the event. Video Game Tournaments
4 times a year we come together to plan and hold video game tournaments at our local libraries in Brentwood and Central Islip. With the help of our partners and sponsors we are able to provide local youth with a fun event full of friendly competition, food, prizes and bragging rights. Helping Families In Need
Along with our many great supporters and sponsors we are able to assist with providing food and other necessities to local families in need throughout the year. Every Thanksgiving we organize a donation drive to make meal baskets and distribute to approximately 100 families. If you know of a family who might need a little help please refer them to us.
Christmas Fundraiser
We started our yearly Christmas fundraiser in 2020 due to the pandemic when there was an overwhelming lack of Christmas spirit in our community, which was hit hard by the Corona Virus. The uplift elves get together a Christmas wish list from local families, wrap presents, dress up as elves, and deliver with Santa.
